Landscapes can truly capture the beauty of
the mountains and woods with time of day
and season of the year painting a brand new
picture. The sun sets on a Mineral Bluff
hillside in late summer, above, while the
midday sun highlights a group of pink lady's
slippers on a mountain trail in early spring.
At left, an
unseen tree
in full fall
foliage
reflects onto
Helton Creek,
just below the
falls, turning
it into liquid
gold. At right,
a South
Georgia river
reflects a
leafless tree
in the Reed
Bingham
State Park.
The sun rises
over the
mountains near
Blairsville
before the fog,
which is still
settled in the
valley, at left.
The fall
wildflowers line
the median of
Highway 515.
